Terms & Conditions

Intertax Group · Last updated July 2026 · Governs use of the Intertax CRM software.

These terms govern access to and use of the Intertax CRM software (“the software”), operated by Intertax Group (“Intertax”, “we”, “us”). By using the software you agree to these terms. The software is an internal practice-management system; clients interact with it only through the secure links we send them.

01Who may use the software

Access is limited to authorised Intertax staff and to clients who have been issued a secure link. You must keep your login credentials confidential and must not share access or attempt to access data you are not authorised to see. We may suspend or withdraw access at any time to protect the security or integrity of the software.

02Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the software for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the software, its data, or connected systems;
  • interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the software or its infrastructure;
  • copy, extract, or redistribute data except as necessary to carry out your legitimate work.

03HMRC and third-party integrations

The software connects to HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) through HMRC’s official APIs and to Companies House through its public API. Where the software acts on your tax data, it does so only under a valid agent authorisation. Use of the HMRC connection is subject to HMRC’s own terms of use, and we operate the integration in line with HMRC’s requirements, including fraud-prevention and security obligations. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for maintaining any authorisations required for us to act on your behalf.

04Data and privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to keep data secure, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access control.

05Availability

We aim to keep the software available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The software may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We are not liable for any unavailability of third-party services such as HMRC or Companies House.

06Intellectual property

The software, its design, and its content are owned by or licensed to Intertax and are protected by intellectual-property rights. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of the software to you.

07Liability

The software is provided for use in managing accountancy and tax work and does not replace professional judgment. To the extent permitted by law, Intertax is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the software. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

08Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of the software after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
